The UC Berkeley High School Ethnic Studies Initiative (HSESI) supports Bay Area teachers and school districts developing curriculum materials to meet the 2025-26 school-year rollout of the California Ethnic Studies high school graduation requirement. HSESI is an ongoing collaboration between the Department of Ethnic Studies, the American Cultures Center, and UC Berkeley History-Social Science Project.
