Featuring the work of over fifty students, and a gorgeous cover image by Jesus Barraza, this issue of the journal foregrounds stories of human mobility, stories drawn from families, communities, and campus.
As lead editor Dr. Pablo Gonzalez puts it: "Our intention with this journal is to showcase our individual and collective rage through creative storytelling and recording. But this journal is also a sounding of the alarm to the storm ahead. The storm is not solely a 'constitutional crisis' but the continued storm of over five hundred years of colonial disaster. We have weathered many storms, building shelters along the way. This storm is eager to wipe us all away. But we resist."
This digital edition of Digna Rabia will soon be followed by a hardcopy edition!
"As always," Pablo writes, "we hope this journal, this mirror, this bridge is a place of encounter. Let our Digna Rabia be the light in this moment of darkness."
