Roundtable on Transmodernity and Decoloniality with Enrique Dussel and other Bay Area scholars
This roundtable will present his concept of the "transmodern" as a critique of still-Eurocentric "post-modern" philosophy, and a third, decolonial way of advancing liberatory knowledge in this era of heightened economic inequities between rich and poor, within first and third world countries alike, and of resurgent authoritarian regimes throughout the world.
