The Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies (CLAGS) is proud to announce that Ethnic Studies Professor Juana María Rodríguez will be the recipient of the 31st annual Kessler Award. Chosen by the CLAGS Board of Directors, the prestigious Kessler Award is given to a scholar who has, over a number of years, produced a substantive body of work that has had a significant influence on the field of LGBTQ Studies. Previous award winners include Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick, Samuel R. Delany, Monique Wittig, Cherrie Moraga, Jasbir Puar, and Judith Butler. Congratulations!
